High-speed at full HD – one step on the way to high-resolution high-speed recording

With its L-series, AOS has designed a full HD high-speed camera with up to 2800 frames per second. Although detectors in the full HD range, i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels, have been available for some time, their frame rates have been far below 1000 Hz. Therefore, the AOS L-series is a significant step on the way to high-resolution high-speed recording. The L-PRI can be fitted with memories ranging from 4 GB to 128 GB in an unchanged compact housing. With a 128 GB memory, the L-PRI is able to record for almost half a minute at 2800 Hz. Also, in terms of maximum frame rate, the camera may be tailored to your specific needs and your budget: L-PRI versions with frame rates of up to 1000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2000 Hz and 2800 Hz are available. The L-PRI is appropriate for laboratory conditions. If the camera is exposed to higher acceleration values or to vibration, the L-VIT variant is the option of choice. It has been tested for accelerations of up to 150 g, thus meeting the requirements specified for crash tests. With its highly compact design, the L-VIT can be accommodated even in small industrial housings. As a crash is a quick event, the 16 GB internal memory is absolutely sufficient.
