FlowVIEW Aquarius is a liquid sample holder for static liquid experiments. Researchers can display samples in their liquid state and under original conditions. Analysis such as particle distribution, dispersity, uniformity, concentration, shape and composition can be carried out in combination with the dedicated software. The Aquarius setup is based on two Si/SiNx chips (bottom and top) and a sealing tool to create a nano cell. The ultra thin SiNx windows allow for high resolution imaging and an outstanding contrast even for low-Z material (see example below) in almost every SEM model on the market. Nanoparticles with sizes below 10 nm can be easily observed. Sample loading is done within a minute! The kit is completed by Eppendorf pipette, tweezer, o-rings and particle analyzing software.

Chips can be ordered in standard, high-resolution or large field-of-view configuration.

FlowVIEW Mercury even enhances your SEM for in situ flowing liquid analysis. Single or multi inlets, customizable channels and a quick installation are unique features of the system.

Options:

  • Surface treatment plasma cleaner for surface cleaning or to activate and create hydrophilic surfaces
  • Micro-flow controller for continuous or intermittent flow, or detection of abnormal flow rates. Capable for flow rates between 0.1 – 120 ml/h
  • Computer controlled powder disperser with pre-defined settings to control particle distribution and avoid mechanical damaging of particles
  • Sealing leakage check system with a base pressure of 10-5 Torr and a short pumping and venting time
  • Heating / Cooling Stage by the market leader DEBEN, for T = -25 – 160 °C with an accuracy of 2%
  • Particle analysis software by FlowVIEWTek to track particles and segmentation. With recipe presets.
