2nd international workshop on laboratory-based X-ray spectroscopies for chemical speciation
After the great first edition of the “International workshop on laboratory-based spectroscopies”, held at Kumpula Campus, University of Helsinki, Finland 2022 the second edition of this workshop will take place at the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany October 9 to 11, 2023.
Our X-Ray expert Dr. Andreas Bergner will also be on site to present the products of our supplier Sigray.
The focus will be again on laboratory-based X-ray emission and absorption spectroscopy and their application in research.
The workshop will have two parts. First, on October 9 we will offer courses and experiments on setups onsite.
This one-day school will be committed to hands-on training for experimental techniques in X-ray absorption spectroscopy. The number of attendees will be limited to around 25 people with a priority for PhD students.
Second, on October 10 and 11 there will be the possibility for presentations to show current activities in the development of instruments and applications. A poster session will complement the talks and provide the opportunity for face-to-face exchange and for building contacts.
