Sources de lumière au mercure et au xénon (HgXe)

Les sources de lumière au mercure et au xénon ont une puissance de sortie élevée dans les domaines UV et VIS, avec des bandes typiques dans l'UV, le VIS et le NIR. Leurs petits arcs très lumineux présentent des avantages significatifs lorsqu'ils sont utilisés avec des optiques montées dans un condenseur. Elles produisent soit un faisceau hautement collimaté, soit un petit spot focalisé de très haute intensité.
