Typically, work with gold layers up to 50,000x magnification is possible. With the platinum upgrade, which is already installed in the device, you can also sputter platinum and thus (under optimal conditions) magnifications of up to 100,000x can be realized. With the carbon filament insert, you can apply conductive carbon layers for analytical investigations such as EDX or WDX. 

The Q150R ES Plus comes equipped with a sputter insert incl. platinum target, platinum upgrade, a carbon filament head for the thermal evaporation of carbon filaments and a coating thickness monitor. 

As the desktop coater is now only one year old, we are offering it with a 2-year warranty and at a very attractive price.
