Model 346 cryogenic temperature controller
Temperature control with 400 W heating power down to 300 mK.
Lake Shore's new controller for cryogenic temperatures, the Model 346, sets new standards above demixing cooler temperatures. The combined heating power of 400 W ensures twice as fast heating as usual. The up to 26 inputs for RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detector), diodes and thermocouple temperature sensors leave nothing to be desired when measuring the temperature.
The front panel consists of a user-friendly touchscreen and displays error messages in real time. These include the new "Broken Leads" function, which detects cable breaks and notifies the user. Extended system control is possible via two digital inputs that can be used for external triggers, as well as two relays for process control, and the controller is supplied with new software, ColdSync. This simplifies the control of the sensors and the collection of temperature data.
