Line-scan cameras for NIR and SWIR

Line-scan cameras are used in applications where objects are quickly moved past the camera. The movement creates a two-dimensional image over time. InGaAs cameras reach their highest quantum efficiency in the near IR. NIR line-scan cameras cover the wavelength range 900 nm - 1700 nm. In this range, absorption and radiance as material characteristics are frequently analyzed.
