These high energy radiation cameras are made for spectral imaging of X-ray photons. Based on Medipix and Timepix hybrid detector electronics they offer spatial resolution from 256x256 up to 512x1280 pixels with energies from 3 keV upwards.

Applications include spectral X-ray imaging, diffraction, radiography and photon counting. Time-delayed-integration (TDI mode) allows for continuous inspection in industrial environments.

The Advacam detectors are operated using USB interface and TTL in and outputs for synchronization. There is a choice between Si and CdTe sensors. CdTe in combination with sophisticated data analysis achieves sub-pixel resolution down to 15 µm with a time resolution of 1.6 ns. These characteristics make the AdvaPix an unsurpassed X-ray imaging detector.
