Large area X-Ray Imaging detectors

WidePix from Advacam

The WidePIX series from Advacam is based on Medipix3 technology and offers large-area, spectral X-ray imaging with seamlessly tiled sensor chips. Elongated models such as the WidePIX 2(1)×10 are ideal for TDI mode, where objects are moved during acquisition – perfect for inline inspections.

The WidePIX 5×5 combines 25 chips into a homogeneous, large imaging area and is particularly suited for applications such as material analysis, art documentation or digital pathology. With a pixel size of 55 µm, selectable Si or CdTe sensors, and resolutions of up to 512 × 3840 pixels (WidePIX L 2×15) or 1280 × 1280 pixels (WidePIX 5×5), the detectors deliver highly precise, spectrally differentiated images.

They operate in single-pixel or charge-summing mode and are controlled via USB or Ethernet with trigger I/Os – a powerful solution for research and industry.
