First ever OptiCool installation in Europe
Just before the outbreak of Corona we have installed the very first QD OptiCool system in Europe. From now on, the system will provide valuable data at the university of the beautiful and historic town Goettingen. The photograph shows Dr. Demeshko from the Institute of Anorganic Chemistry and our service engineers Dr. Alexander Isanin and Thomas Beppler. OptiCool is an optical, cryogen-free and low-vibration cryostat that controls all parameters like pressure, temperature, cold head etc. through integrated software. Dr. Demeshko will use the OptiCool for Mössbauer spectroscopy.
