New Raman option for PPMS - a powerful optical investigation tool for sample characterization

The new PPMS Raman option provides a turnkey set-up for the automated measurement of Raman spectra as function of temperature and/or field. It is available for all systems of the PPMS family: PPMS, DynaCool, PPMS-EverCool-1 and 2, and VersaLab.

[Raman spectroscopy measures the inelastic scattering of laser light. Laser light interacts with for example different vibration modes of the sample and is thus scattered. Compared to the wavelength of the used laser beam, the scattered light may have longer or shorter wavelengths. This effect is referred to as anti-Stokes or Stokes scattering.]

Do you want to set up your own optical experiment? Find a valuable tool in our Multifunction Probe (MFP)-Fiber. It consists of a set of fibers which perfectly fit our multifunction probe MFP. The MFP can be equipped with either one or two fibers.

Our MFP-Fiber is the ideal basis for experiments like photo-conductivity, reflection spectroscopy or fluorescence. In our application lab, we have used the MFP-Fiber for a particular fluorescence measurement. The sample is auto fluorescent plastic typically used for fluorescence calibration.

Our fiber-set is available for both new MFP inserts and MFP inserts already in use. Please contact us for more information.
