Scanner and camera control software

Lumo is Specim’s proprietary software to control cameras and scanners. The module Lumo Recorder is used to control the cameras while the Lumo Scanner module is used to control the scanners.

Both software modules allow a precise setting of camera parameters like shutter, frame rate, integration time or binning features. Incoming spectral is are depicted in a waterfall display.  Lumo Recorder and Lumo Scanner start the acquisition and save data of the required sequence length in a standard format for later analysis. In addition, white reference and dark images can be subtracted to standardize the data.

Lumo Scanner controls a Specim scanner in addition to the camera and allows the definition of scanner speed and length and angle of the translation or rotation.
