Scanning NV (Nitrogen-Vacancy) Microscope

ProteusQ™ from Qnami

The ProteusQ is a complete quantum microscope. It is the first scanning NV (nitrogen-vacancy) microscope for the analysis of magnetic materials at the atomic level. This microscope combines NV magnetic field sensing and SPM techniques in a single instrument and allows the simultaneous measurement of the topography of the sample and its surface magnetic fields with nanoscale resolution.

Features
  • Single spin quantum sensor
  • Ultra low drift, closed loop scanners
  • Stable optical design
  • Fast and safe tip exchange
  • Easy near-field antenna approach
  • Dedicated high frequency electronics allowing for
  • Optically Detected Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy
  • Optional high frequency pulsing capabilities

A revolution in magnetic imaging arrives at Quantum Design France

We are proud to announce the exclusive distribution of Qnami's ProteusQ, a new-generation quantum microscope. The first of its kind, the ProteusQ uses an NV (Nitrogen-Vacancy) centre to explore ...

Further information

While the tip's radius of curvature determines the lateral resolution for the topography image, it is the distance between the NV centre and the sample surface that determines the resolution for the magnetic image.

The ProteusQ system is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and software and has been designed to allow for future expansion, customization and capability upgrades.

Qnami’s proprietary quantum technology allows you to directly see the most subtle properties of your samples and the effect of microscopic changes in your design or manufacturing process.
