My name is Cecilia Ocsovainé Steinbach, and I am the local sales manager of Quantum Design in Hungary.

The Hungarian office of Quantum Design is a small family business, which has been the distributor of industial and laboratory instruments for over 20 years. We started our collaboration with QD more than 15 years ago. I started working in the company in 2017 after I obtained my PhD at the Department of Atomic Physics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
While as a researcher you dig deep into a narrow, specific field, I really enjoy that this work gives me a wide "horizontal" view of the various fields of research and state-of-the-art techniques and instrumentation. I like to get to know the work going on in different research sites and I am happy if we can contribute to the success of our customers with our instruments.
I live in Budapest with my husband and my four children. If I have some free time, I like hiking, gardening and making DIY projects.
