Online-Seminar: AFM-based nanomechanics

The mechanical properties of materials are often key to their functionality. A variety of methods exist that allow estimating these properties at different scales.
Atomic force microscopes with their sharp probes are instruments capable of providing very high spatial and force resolution. In the force-spectroscopy mode, AFMs are thus capable of resolving the mechanical properties of materials down to the nanoscale.
This webinar will focus on the benefits of this technique in both materials and biological science.

Speaker: Dr. Christian Bippes - Application and service scientist at Nanosurf

Date: Thursday, July 23rd - h. 16:00 - 17:00 CEST
