Magnetic field platform for the laboratory

Our partner Microsense has created a new product family with their magnetic field platforms. These platforms are based on components of the popular VSM magnetometer. The two electromagnets with 4 and 7 inch pole diameters, reach 2.3 and 2.7 Tesla at a distance of 12.5 mm. If you chose a smaller distance, the 7-inch magnet can reach more than 3 Tesla. The magnetic field platform boasts a modular design so you only buy the components you actually need. The power supply comes in a unipolar and bipolar version. The system provides both optical and mechanical access to the magnetic field. The platform was designed for researchers who plan to create their own experiment with a magnetic field. Possible applications include optical Kerr effect (MOKE), Hall effect, magnetization of samples or spectroscopic issues like electron spin resonance (ESR) or ferromagnetic resonance (FMR).
