Filtri in vetro colorato

I filtri in vetro colorato sono unici nella loro abilità di trasmettere una banda di luce molto ampia. La tipologia passa-alto, spesso usata come filtro "order/wavelength sorting", trasmette le lunghezze d'onda più lunghe ed assorbe quelle più corte. La tipologia banda-passante, utile per aumentare il rapporto segnale/rumore dei sistemi di illuminazione, trasmette un'ampia banda di lunghezze d'onda, mentre blocca le lunghezze d'onda più corte e più lunghe. Come tutti i componenti ottici, i filtri in vetro colorato non dovrebbero essere esposti ad alte temperature o a sbalzi termici.

We check all filter glass for striae, bubbles and inclusions using our tunable interferometer and custom-designed inclusion tester. These instruments detect minute defects, even in materials that do not transmit visible light.
