In 2019, we decided to expand our portfolio beyond Moxtek’s wire grid polarizers to also include their X-ray products.
Since then, the range of X-ray sources, detectors, and windows has been continuously expanded.

X-Ray Tubes

The HPC series represents a new generation of air-cooled, high-performance X-ray tubes. They operate at tube voltages of up to 60 kV with a continuous power rating of up to 150 W.
The HPC150 (see image with power supply) is designed for both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and imaging applications. Its forced-air cooling ensures efficient heat dissipation. These tubes feature additional elements such as integrated radiation shielding and vacuum sealing at the base. Their robust design ensures consistent performance and reliability even under harsh industrial conditions – for example, in recycling facilities.

SDD Detectors

The new SDD detector is a compact, cost-effective energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) detector.
It combines a CUBE CMOS front-end with a powerful two-stage thermoelectric cooler (TEC) to deliver excellent resolution and high X-ray sensitivity.
The XPIN preamplifier provides a low-noise signal output to a digital pulse processor (DPP) or a shaping amplifier for high count rate applications. No external cooling is required.
This SDD package is ideal for benchtop and portable applications that do not require integrated temperature regulation.
