Catalytic Reactions Require in-situ Measurements

Synchrotron XAS access is difficult to acquire, but it is considered essential for studying catalytic reactions in-operando and in-situ. This presents a bottleneck for advancing research.

In-situ Laboratory XAS: Now Available

I am proud to announce a recent breakthrough to make such synchrotron XAS capabilities broadly available. Late last year, we introduced the QuantumLeap in-laboratory XAS system, which achieves synchrotron-like performance at sub-eV resolution and rapid acquisition speeds within minutes.

To enable in-situ and in-operando studies on the system, we can offer or refer you to a manufacturer that can customize in-situ and in-operando cells, including temperature, gaseous environment, and more.

To read about how the QuantumLeap XAS can be used to determine important parameters of catalysts, including chemical states and bond lengths, below is a link for a technical applications note : Technical Apps Note: XAS of Catalysts

Let me know if you have any questions or are interested in customizing an in-situ cell. You may reach me at slewissigray.com
