High-speed streaming at its best
The PROMON 2000 is the first commercially available camera to offer full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the ability to transfer 1000 frames per second directly to a flash disc - a significant breakthrough in high-speed recording technology. For the first time, the PROMON 2000 combines the frame rate of a high-speed camera with long recording times.
Conventional high-speed cameras are limited by the size of the internal memory. The PROMON 2000 overcomes this limitation. Using a 10 Gigabit high-speed ethernet connection, the PROMON 2000 eliminates this data transfer bottleneck. The camera transmits 1000 frames per second in 8-bit mode with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. When high dynamic range is required, the 12-bit sensor captures images at up to 300 frames per second.
Frame rates of up to 50,000 fps can also be achieved in flexibly adjustable smaller image windows. The Promon 2000 is supplied with Imaging Studio V4 software. This allows easy control of the camera and transfer of movies to the attached RAM or large SSD. Imaging Studio V4 also makes it possible to view the live image while recording to get an immediate insight.
