The stationary infrared cameras of the VarioCAM HD head and VarioCAM HDx head families with their solid light metal housings are suitable for use in a fixed or sometimes changing location. Camera control and display are on a LapTop or PC with the camera. The cameras are rugged and withstand harsh process conditions. VarioCAM cameras are equipped with modern microbolometer detectors with up to 1024 × 768 Pixels showing an image format of 2048 x 1536 Pixels because of the modern microscan technology for LWIR Imaging and temperature measurement. These cameras are fully equipped with a long list of features and represent the current high performance of uncooled thermography.

Infrared camera series VarioCAM HD head and VarioCAM HDx head with their compact light metal housing are especially suited for fixed mount stationary applications in changing scientific or process environments, but also for computer-based laboratory tasks. The very high geometric resolution of up to 2048 x 1536 IR pixels makes even smallest details visible. The application spectrum of these infrared camera series ranges from automatic threshold detection, configurable via RS232, to digital 50/60 Hz real-time image acquisition via Gigabit-Ethernet and online processing for computer-based process control. Both camera series are perfectly suited for various applications in research and industry, as well as for monitoring tasks, which require continuous and automatic operation.

VarioCAM HD head 900 with its 3.1 megapixels is a worldwide unique infrared system. It gives a new definition to the premium segment of uncooled industrial cameras and guarantees for precise infrared recordings in brilliant photographic quality.
