Swiss camera manufacturer AOS Technologies present their new, ultra compact, high-speed streaming camera. The PROMON U750 high-speed streaming camera uses a USB3 interface for easy connection to your PC.
The interface facilitates frame rates of 750 Hz at 640 x 480 pixels. At full resolution (1280 x 1024 pixels), PROMON750 still features 200 fps. Reducing the number of pixels to 128 x 128 provides as much as 3000 frames per second. 2 GB of RAM enables the recording of up to 30-second long sequences.
A 500 GB SSD hard disk stores over half an hour worth of imaging material at 128 x 128 pixels. The CMOS detector is available in both color and black and white versions. Images are directly stored in the PC’s RAM or on disc.
The included Imaging Studio Software enables the direct playback of stored sequences and the conversion of the images in movie formats.
All imaging data is stored separately in an uncompressed image format so every single image of the sequence is visible.
All cameras of the PROMON series allow frame-accurate triggering. This way no event is missed and it takes minimum effort to read out the captured data.
Power is also provided by the USB cable. Thanks to its compact and single-cable design the PROMON U750 camera is easy to handle and perfectly suited for applications which require a frequent change of location or which require a camera use on short notice.
