An example to others – helium recovery in renowned NMR laboratory in Aarhus

During EUROMAR 2016, the largest European conference for magnetic resonance, a high-pressure recovery system for liquid helium was installed at the laboratory of chairman Thomas Vosegaard in Aarhus.

The system was presented to conference participants in a half-hour long lab session.

The session was well attended and produced a great deal of interesting discussions. Since most NMR spectrometers depend on a reliable supply of liquid helium but only actually use small amounts, recovery systems like the compact ATL160 from Quantum Design can be the perfect solution for many NMR laboratories.
