NewHigh Power X-Ray Sources for XRF and Imaging Applications
The HPC high power tubes are designed to be used in XRF and imaging applications. As "targets", tungsten and molybdenum are available.
10-75 kV range with constant power consumption up to 350 watts.
The tube is air cooled and the "push/pull" configuration enables the warm air to be guided to the outside.
For XRF applications, the cone is vacuum-sealed at the base.
The HPC tube incorporates radiation shielding.
Typical applications are, e.g.:
- Food inspection
- Thickness gauging
- Scrap metal recognition and sorting
