X-ray sources

The X-ray sources have enabled the XRF handheld market by offering products that are small and lightweight, with high X-ray flux and low power consumption. Moxtek products are used in a variety of instruments including handheld and benchtop XRF and XRD applications. Products can be customized to meet your needs with various energies and target materials.

Today´s digital X-ray sources are spectroscopically identical. Manufacturers can use standard calibration and direct change of sources in instruments with no additional effort.

We offer X-ray sources primarily for XRF and XRD markets, as well as imaging applications. The current product lines are available with multiple options for target material and energies.

Two X-ray source product lines are available, Monoblock and Cabled, both available with either a side window or end window tube. The original Cabled X-ray sources offer flexibility, while the Monoblock version is the newest design with the best reliability. Controllers are also available to purchase with these X-ray sources.
