High pressures and temperatures may affect material properties and, consequently, surface interaction processes. With the launch of the QSense High-Pressure System, Biolin Scientific now enables QCM-D measurements under high pressures and temperatures up to 200 bar and 150 °C.
Understanding surface interactions under high pressures is relevant in many areas. Oil- and gas- related research is one example. Oil extraction, processing and the final use of oil-based products frequently take place in high pressure and temperature conditions. This also applies to polymer research and research in the food processing field.
The QSense High-Pressure System can be fitted to many individual needs. This allows the creation of close-to-real-life experimental conditions which provide relevant results and can thus help make smarterdecisions.
