CANUNDA-HP from Cailabs

Cailabs' CANUNDA-HP Series beam shapers, compatible with commercially available standard laser heads, optimize the performance of laser machines by allowing beam shaping of multi-KW CW lasers to improve the quality and efficiency of material processing.

CANUNDA-HP modules can be used for beam shaping of high-power continuous laser sources up to 16 KW. They can perform several shaping: a ring or a rectangle in standard versions, or any symmetrical (e.g. ring with a central spot…) or asymmetrical (e.g. spot followed by a line…) profile on demand.

Thanks to the cooled-mirror design, the CANUNDA-HP Series ensures stable beam shaping with low losses and compatibility with high-power CW lasers used in welding and cutting processes as also demonstrated by a collaboration with the Institut Maupertuis. The optimized cooling system of the internal mirrors minimizes focus shift due to thermal effect.

CANUNDA-HP beam shapers can be used with fiber lasers on robotic arms in industrial automation processes, mounting directly on the fiber connector and integrating the entire optical chain up to the processing table, or they can be integrated into standard optical collimation and focusing systems.

The CANUNDA-HP module is available in two standard configurations.

CANUNDA-HP ring shaper:

Shaping a ring profile (600µm/1000µm inner/outer diameter), addressing laser beam welding applications

CANUNDA-HP top-hat shaper:

Delivering a top-hat rectangle beam shape, with configurable dimensions (from 1×5 mm² to 40×175 mm²) addressing high power surface treatment applications.
