Environmental chamber for Selector diffuse reflectance accessory
From SpecacThe environmental chamber optionally enables the analysis of diffuse reflectance samples in a controlled atmosphere from room temperature to 800 °C. The available pressure range is from vacuum (10-3 Torr) to 33 bar.

Two valves are provided for gas inlet and outlet. The standard window material is ZnSe, which offers a good compromise between spectral transmission and mechanical load-bearing capability. Other window materials are available upon request. The chamber body consists of stainless steel, surrounded by a water-cooling jacket to avoid heating of the spectrometer sample area. Low-voltage heating, thermal overload protection and a safety ‘burst disc’ guarantee a maximum of safety. Typical applications are in the area of kinetics, catalysis and surface analysis.
