Moxtek polarizers and beamsplitters – Projection display applications
Moxtek Inc. are introducing their new ProFlux® range of inorganic wire-grid polarizers and beamsplitters. These optics are especially suited for polarization management in liquid crystal (LC) projection displays.
The ProFlux series includes prepolarizers (PPL series), absorptive polarizers (ABS series) and polarizing beamsplitters (PBS series). One notable advantage of using ProFlux in projection display applications is the inorganic wire grid which makes the polarizers extremely durable in the harsh projection environment (no degradation after 5000 hours at 200 °C). Another advantage is the high polarization purity, which creates the ideal polarization state for projection display
