Imaging and thermography cameras in the longwave infrared

Gobi+ and Ceres from Xenics

For imaging and thermography applications in the long-wave infrared, we offer the high-resolution, uncooled microbolometer cameras of the Gobi+ and Ceres series. Our uncooled infrared cameras meet scientific requirements. They are the ideal tool for scientists and engineers who want to perform measurements with high accuracy microbolometer cameras and record temperature differences of less than 0.04 °C. The Ceres' onboard thermography function also ensures the fastest possible adaptation to temperature fluctuations.

Features
  • Detect temperature differences < 0.04 °C
  • Best imaging quality
  • Fast and accurate thermography
  • Uncooled detector
  • GigE or CameraLink interface

All versions are GenICam compliant which allows for easy integration in demanding industrial thermography applications.

Gobi+ uses a high-quality, state-of-the-art 17 µm microbolometer detector that feature high sensitivity and low noise. The Gobi electronics provide ultra-stable images, so the camera is suited for both standard and sophisticated R&D applications. It has a thermal resolution of < 50 mK at 60 Hz.
Gobi+ cameras are used in the scientific analysis of thermal flow and measurements. Like our camera modules of the XTM series, Gobi+ has a very small footprint and can easily be used in production lines and on UAVs. Gobi+ is delivered as imaging camera but thermography calibrated versions are available as well.

Ceres V 640, Ceres V 1280, Ceres T 640 and Ceres T 1280 are based on modern, uncooled microbolometer detectors in newest 12 μm pitch technology, available with either 640 × 480 or 1280 × 1024 pixel resolution. Models of both versions with a NETD better than 40 mK or below 50 mK are available. Thanks to the fast internal FPGA, Ceres can measure and follow fast temperature changes and compensate ambient temperature drift. It offers superior thermography with the accuracy of a high-end thermal camera in the price range of a small-sized and low-priced scientific camera. Ceres T cameras feature full frame image rates of 60 Hz via CameraLink or GigE interface. We provide four different lenses and two different interfaces, so you can choose from a total of 8 different camera versions.

Applications

Monitoring temperature differences
