Pen-Ray Mercury UV Lamps for Laboratory and Industrial Applications

Pen-Ray Mercury Lamps are low-pressure cold cathode mercury UV lamps manufactured from double-walled quartz tubes. Each lamp is individually crafted to ensure high reliability, precise spectral line accuracy, and a long service life of over 3000 hours.

Their compact design and single-sided electrode configuration enable flexible integration into laboratory, industrial, medical, and forensic environments.

Features
  • Low-pressure cold cathode mercury UV lamps
  • Double-walled quartz construction
  • High spectral line accuracy
  • Service life exceeding 3000 hours
  • Available in multiple peak wavelengths
  • Compact design with single-sided electrode configuration

Further information

Pen-Ray UV light sources provide defined spectral emission lines for analytical, research, and industrial applications. Available peak wavelengths include:

254 nm (Shortwave UV)
302 nm (Midrange UV)
351 nm and 365 nm (Longwave UV, depending on model)

The lamps are available in different illuminated lengths, quartz diameters, and total lamp lengths, making them suitable for transillumination, photochemical processes, fluorescence excitation, curing applications, and optical measurements.
