The maximum height between lower and upper pressing face is 159 mm which is enough even for large press die assemblies. A 20-mm hole in the side panel can be used as feedthrough for vacuum hoses. This way press dies can also be evacuated when the safety guard is down. The integrated pressure control valve is adjustable to protect the press die from excessive pressure.
Heating plates can be used in the press to prepare thin polymer films under pressure and heat.
An additional optional low-pressure gauge that is mounted together with the 15-t standard gauge enables low-pressure applications at 0-1, 0-2 and 0-5 tons. The measuring increments of the low-pressure gauge are much smaller and thus better suited for applications where a precise load display is a must.
